About me
I’ve been working as an audio journalist for nearly a decade. Currently, I’m based in New York City and working as an Assistant Producer at Radio Ambulante Studios’ first show in English, The Moment.
But I’ve also produced stories and collaborated with organizations such as PRX’s The World, NPR, GFR Media in Puerto Rico and more.
A bit of my work…
For The World, I produced and reported a two-part story on the origins of salsa music in New York and the historic night the genre cemented its legacy with a concert at Yankee Stadium. Here’s the first part:
And here’s part two!
For my work on The Moment, I do background research, prep, and provide assistance with the overall flow of the show.
Our first episode featured New York City mayor-elect, Zohran Mamdani.
I’ve also done plenty of reporting in both Spanish and English.
